Corporate record
About Gal Sport Betting Tanzania: the company and the licence
Gal Sport Betting is the trading brand named in Fido Technologies Limited's Tanzanian terms. The record below separates the licensed operator, regulator and app publisher.
Registered details
The company behind the brand
Fido Technologies Limited trades as Gal Sport Betting and has company number 98823. Its registered office is at the Corner of Msimbazi and Livingstone Streets, Plot 11, Block 63, Al Fallah Building, fifth floor, Kariakoo Ward, Ilala District, Dar es Salaam.
The registered address also lists P.O. Box 12676. This is the operator identity in the terms, not a generic Gal Sport Betting group label.
Regulatory record
Licence and the regulator
The Gaming Board of Tanzania issued Internet Sports Betting Licence SBL000000023 on 14 August 2020. Bets are governed by The Gaming Act and the rules issued by the Gaming Board, rather than by an overseas licence claim.
A dispute first goes to the operator. If it is not resolved within 14 days, either side may refer it to the Gaming Board of Tanzania for further remedies.
The Board can investigate and communicate an outcome to the parties. That route is different from a support request about an SMS code or a mobile-money transfer.
Brand history
Where Gal Sport Betting comes from
Multiple public profiles place the brand's origin in Uganda around 2010. The Tanzanian licence dates from 2020, which is the firmer local market-entry point.
Earlier Tanzania founding claims circulate but are not verified in the material used here. The wider group also operates in Zambia and South Sudan, so the Tanzanian company record should not be used as a shortcut for every Gal Sport Betting entity.
The mobile apps are published by Servtech Holdings of Mauritius. Servtech is separate from Fido Technologies Limited, the licensed Tanzanian operator.
Operator contact
How to reach the operator
Use toll-free 0800712345 or customercare@gsb.co.tz for an operator contact route. Telegram and WhatsApp are listed on +255 675 222 234, while live chat is available on the site.
There is also a physical shop network, although an official exact count is not published. A phone or email contact can be more useful than visiting a shop when the issue needs a transaction reference.
